Piano artist, composer and organizer of festivals, Väinö Jalkanen, has been the artistic director of Reissujuna since 2020 and plans cultural events suitable for each section of the tracks for our future trips.
Jalkanen, who knows the Finnish rail network of his external memory, has also been a friend of rail travel since he was a child and is willing to promote comfortable togetherness on the tracks in Reissujuna’s team.

My journey with Reissujuna started in the beginning of the year, as the social media and marketing intern.
I study at Yrkeshögskolan Arcada and I will graduate during the spring of 2021.

I’ve jumped aborad Reissujuna in February as the graphic design and visual communications intern. I’m a Bachelor of Business Administration and now I’m studying media and visual communication at Keuda as a multiform study.
Before I joined Reissujuna, I’ve been rolling on the same tracks for a long time in the retail- and customer service sector.
However, the aesthetics, visuals and visual expression have always fascinated and inspired me, so I thought it would be best to start my studies and change the “gear” to new tracks.
